If you don`t already know the site: A small stone is a very short piece of writing that precisely captures a fully-engaged moment.
A brand new stone is displayed on the widget every day. Today's is shown on the right.

goto Dashboard
click on Appearances
add a text/html widget
copy and paste the code below into it
click Save
refresh your blog page

sign into your Blogger account
on your home page click on Layout
click on Add a Gadget on the right hand side
in the pop up window click on the HTML/Javascript gadget
add a title for the gadget if you wish
copy and paste the code below into the content box
click Save

A Handful of Stones Widget on Typepad

If you have a blog hosted by www.typepad.com e.g. http://yourblog.typepad.com/ then follow these instructions:-

Sign into your TypePad account first. (Important! Doesn't seem to work if you don't do this first!)
Go to this link to view the Widget page: Widgetbox
On the right hand side under the big green 'Get Widget' banner, click on 'more'.
Click on the TypePad icon.
Follow the instructions on the pop up box that appears.
That should be it!
